EDITING

When editing existing material, corrections, suggestions, and organization ideas are made to the author. It’s a collaborative process that involves working closely with the author. It also involves creativity and precision,

as well as being able to properly distance oneself from the material in order to see it clearly each time it’s edited.

Editing is a process, one that involves trust.

A good editor can turn a mediocre tome into

something that soars.

Lorin Shields Michel has worked with authors all over the world, including some of the most renowned physicians and surgeons, helping to organize chapters as well as editing those chapters for consistency of message, flow and language.
